EVENT INFORMATION

Hello and thank you for registering for our Yoga Nidra for Grief session.

This is a live, zoom event that will take place at 7:30pm tomorrow. The zoom room will be open 10 minutes prior to the start time. We encourage you to join early to be sure that your audio and video are working properly.

Here is how you can prepare yourself and your space for a healing yoga nidra practice.

  • Pick a space in your home where you can be both comfortable and undisturbed with no drafts or breeze (avoid oscillating or ceiling fans).
  • Dress in comfortable clothes that don't feel restrictive.
  • If it feels comfortable, dim the lights in the room.
  • If you are able to lay down for the session comfortably, please do. If you cannot comfortably or safely get back up from the floor, you could do the practice in your bed or a recliner, or even on a sofa. If laying down doesn't work for you, you are welcome to practice while sitting in a supportive chair.
  • If you do choose to lay on the floor, make sure that you have some padding beneath you, such as a yoga mat with a blanket laid on top of it. You will want to have cushioning under every part of your body, including your hands when they are laid at your sides a bit away from your body.
  • Some people like to have a pillow or rolled blanket under their knees. You may like to have a pillow under your head.
  • Have a blanket nearby to drape over yourself if you tend to run cold.
  • Note that upon joining in the zoom room all participants microphones will be muted. This helps to decrease background noise so that everyone can hear the instructor. If you have any comments to share, please use the chat box function at the bottom of your screen.
  • Cameras will also be set to off when you join the room. This will allow you for the privacy needed to get comfortable and fully relaxed.

Click the button below and use password "mountain" to join the session.

You will also receive a reminder email with this link at 5pm on Thursday.

I'm looking forward to being with you on December 3 at 7:30pm.

Warmly,
